Description The Hospice team has part time and per diem RN
opportunities to serve our patients in the Spokane region. The RN
Nurse Clinician provides holistic care to terminally ill pediatric
or adult patients and their families by assessing the needs of the
patient, and then planning, coordinating, implementing, and as
needed, revising the Plan of Care. The RN Nurse Clinician works
collaboratively with the interdisciplinary hospice group (IDG)with
the goals of anticipating changes in the patient's condition,
avoiding crises, promoting patient and family choice, ensuring
continuity of care, and enhancing the quality of life of dying
patients. Shift, schedule and caseload of shifts and caseload may
vary according to position assignment. Providence caregivers are

- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or
equivalent educ/experience
- Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
- Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart
Association (Facility Managed) Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year Nursing experience; some pediatric nursing experience
required for a position in the Pediatric Programs
- Prior Hospice, Homecare, Long Term Care, medical/surgical,
