Job Description:
Speech Language Pathologist Job DescriptionWe are looking for a
passionate and ethical SLP to provide one on one services to our
students with special needs. Our team values empathy, respect,

voiceless and teach those that learn differently.The SLP is
responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of
communication and swallowing disorders for the students at Lilac
Learning Center while reporting to Site Directors. This is an
at-will position in an at-will state. This is a part-time role and
does not qualify for benefits or FLSA. This position will be of a
hybrid nature with limited travel or 100%
virtual.--Duties:StaffCollaboration with Special Education Teacher
as well as other members of the LLC team (Site Director, BCBA,
Behavior Technicians) on student objectives and
documentationStudentConduct student evaluations and assessments to
Identify individual communication needsDevelop student programs and
draft IEP goals in consultation with other LLC personnelCollaborate
with all LLC team members to support student progress toward IEP
goalsProvide SLP services as indicated in assigned student
IEPsCollect data and assess student performance toward identified
learning targets and IEP goalsAssess and report on student progress
toward IEP goals at intervals identified in assigned student
IEPsCollaborate with each student's IEP team to draft and develop
IEP goals in alignment with internal and external compliance
timelines and instructional standardsFacilityUse of LLC
technologyPossible travel to LLC locations--As well as other duties
as assigned--Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Effective oral and

RequirementsCCC-SLP--Experience Preferences2+ Years experience as
an SLPEffective history of working with individuals with severe
behavior--Physical requirements--Must be able to assume and
maintain a sitting or standing position for extended periods of
timeMust be able to sit, stand, lift 5 pounds, push/pull 5 pounds,
carry 5 lbs, grasp, reach, handle, talk, and hear--Other
requirementsCriminal background clearance or formal exceptionValid
driver's license with a clean driving record and verified auto
insurance--Equipment UsedChildren's toys and educational
materialsOffice equipment including laptop, ipad, and
phone--Working EnvironmentNoise Conditions: exposed to moderate and
occasional loud noise from students, toys, and normal school
equipmentHeat/Cold: may be subject to heat, cold, wet, and/or humid
weather conditions, and occasionally five or more minutes in
extreme heat, cold, or wet weather conditions on a very occasional
basis when traveling to a siteInjury exposure: position requires
physical activity and occasionally physical management of a student
therefore may present conditions for injury on a very occasional
basis when traveling to a siteEnvironmental Exposures: potential
exposure to secretions, saliva, blood, urine, and feces; thereby,
potentially at risk for exposure to bloodborne pathogens on a very
